Daniel Ricciardo returns for United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas
As the saying goes, ‘There’s no I in team’. There are, however, two in Ricciardo… or at least there should be. Danny Ric, making his return from injury this weekend, arrived to find his name spelled incorrectly above his AlphaTauri pit garage.

The Honey Badger is back in the driving seat 8 weeks after breaking his hand in free practice at the Dutch grand prix.
Speaking in the drivers press conference on Thursday, Ricciardo confirmed that his return had taken longer than anticipated as the break in his hand had been worse than first thought.
The typo wasn’t the only error made on the signage though. On Thursday @ValeroRacing posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Filipe Drugovich was mistakenly pictured on the driver’s posters at the circuit instead of Lance Stroll. Unless they know something we don’t…
Lights out for the main race is 8pm BST on Sunday 22nd October. Don’t forget that there’s also the sprint, starting at 11pm on Saturday 21st.
